Sleepeezee Shetland Ortho Comfort 1000 Mattress
Description
When making the Sleepeezee Shetland Ortho Comfort Mattress, previously known as the Sleepeezee Backcare Extreme 1000, every detail has been carefully thought through and designed into this premium quality mattress. To ensure that the sleeper is kept at their perfect, personal sleeping temperature, a layer of iFibre has been added. Made from broken memory foam which is then spun into a supportive layer, this adds additional comfort with extra cushioning and a touch of luxury.
The Sleepeezee Shetland Ortho Comfort Mattress is enhanced by a micro-quilted soft-knit cover. This offers superb cushioning in all the right places, alongside outstanding cooling qualities and the increased ability to transfer moisture. In addition, the double rows of stitching and hand-tufted tufting ensure that your mattress retains its shape and form, for years to come. This is a single-sided mattress so there’s no need to flip and turn, although regular rotation from head to foot will prolong the life of the mattress.
Previously known as the Sleepeezee Backcare Extreme 1000 mattress.
1,000 individually pocketed springs
If you’ve never experienced the comfort and support offered by pocketed springs, this is the best place to start. Pocketed springs are mattress springs housed in individual fabric pockets. This allows each spring to move individually and tailor themselves to your weight and sleeping habits. In addition, they reduce the potential for motion transfer. For those who sleep with late-night leg kickers or post-sunset wrigglers, this means that their any wriggling in the small hours shouldn’t disturb you. On top of that, the springs’ autonomous movement will help stop you rolling together in the middle of the night – unless you want to!
Sanitised surface layer
While many mattresses use a blend of cotton and wool as the layer between the springs and the upholstery, the fibres can drop between the springs and, over time, the mattress can lose its resilience and consistency. The Sleepeezee Shetland Ortho Comfort mattress solves this problem by adding hair fibres into the mix. These create a natural matrix that keeps the other materials in place, prolonging the shape, firmness, and luxurious quality of this outstanding mattress. In addition, this layer provides an excellent layer of breathable insulation.
Polyester layer
Polyester is a synthetic fibre with excellent insulator properties. However, in addition to keeping you warm in winter, polyester has superb wicking properties. This means that any moisture produced by the body will be moved away, allowing the skin to breathe freely, whether it’s high summer or during the colder months. An appropriate bedsheet on top of your Sleepeezee Shetland Ortho Comfort Mattress will help to increase its thermo-regulatory properties.
