Carbon has been scientifically proven to reduce static electricity, which builds up in your body throughout the day. Too much static electricity can lead to an increase in Cortisol, a stress hormone that can prevent the production of the sleep hormone Melatonin. Our Intense™ sleep surface helps to decrease static electricity, which, in turn, lowers the levels of Cortisol developing in our bodies.
