Hypnos Orthos Support 7 Firm Mattress

Pocket springs form the mattress’s core and offer a tailored sleep experience. Each spring, encased in a fabric sleeve, works independently and reacts to the pressure applied to that area of the mattress. Pocket springs are widely recognised for their targeted support and pressure-relieving qualities contributing to an incredibly supportive night’s rest. In addition, each spring features 7 active turns to accurately sense body shape and provider greater support. 

A heavy emphasis is placed on the mattress’s comfort offerings with the pocket springs placed between layers of wool, cotton and an eOlus™ recycled fibre support pad. Wool and cotton are recognised for their temperature-regulating properties and ability to wick away moisture for a cool, dry sleeping surface. These three components work in conjunction to create a comfortable, breathable mattress that allows you to stay warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Two rows of hand stitching feature across its borders to keep these layers aligned and maintain the mattress’s durability.

This mattress features a firm tension, suitable for front and back sleepers. The firm tension evenly distributes body weight for greater support. A softer sleeping surface than a firm mattress is required for side sleepers to provide cushioned support to the hip and shoulder. Hypnos recognises the paramount need for a greener planet, and with this in mind, the Orthos Support 7 revolves around environmentally friendly measures. The British wool comprising the mattress fillings is certified to Responsible Wool Standard; Hypnos have worked with Red Tractor Assured farms to ensure the wool is completely traceable. Similarily, the cotton is responsibly sourced from the CottonConnect initiative, and the eOlus™ sustainable fibre is made from recycled water bottles. Moreover, due to its environmental properties, the Orthos Support 7 is 100% recyclable at the end of its life cycle.
