The power of latex

Known for their innovative use of latex, Dunlopillo has created another great mattress using the natural material again. Similar to memory foam, however, it’s an eco-friendly choice that also doesn’t overheat. The structure of the latex is like a honeycomb core with a natural venting system. When you move on the bed, the core will push out warm air and let in cool air, therefore maintaining a cool and dry place to sleep.

Throughout this mattress, there are 7 comfort zones, areas which are firmer than others to provide better support to areas that need it and support the spine properly. Latex is an extremely durable material so you don’t need to turn your mattress, and you still won’t see a decline in performance over years of use.

The soft-touch knitted cover is treated with Actipro technology which provides natural protection against allergens, dust mites and odours. On top of this, Dunlopillo latex has been proven by the Shirley Institute of Manchester to be twice as effective at neutralising bed bugs than sprung-core mattresses.

Is a firmer mattress suitable for me?

A firmer mattress is suited to people who prefer to sleep on their front or back, and for those of heavier weight groups. If you’re a back/front sleeper, a firmer mattress will provide your lower back with the support to promote healthy spinal alignment. These kinds of sleepers are not advised to sleep on softer surfaces. This is similar for people of larger statures, as a firmer mattress can evenly distribute your weight across the surface which in turn will help keep your spine in a natural position.
